This hotel offers a lot of great amenities. The rooms are spacious with beautiful traditional Japanese style decor. The staff is very kind and makes sure guests feel comfortable with excellent customer service. The food is delicious, and there are nearby local bars and restaurants with good prices. Relaxing hot springs are available to guests, some of which offer excellent views. Also, the hotel is closely located to some great attractions such as the Taiga Glass gallery, and there is a cool brewery nearby.
The hotel may be quite a distance from the town center, and walking may not be an option for some without sidewalks.

Stayed over Christmas. It was snowing and quiet which was exactly what we were hoping for. The town looked cute and festive with Christmas lights. Found the food to be tasty and filling. Liked getting a free shuttle from the train station. Room was big with a comfy bed and free wifi.
We were thinking it would be more lively in the evening. There wasn't much to do besides relax in the room or take a dip in the onsen.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a snow-covered hotel in a serene location. The room was not only spacious but also spotlessly clean. The highlight of the room was definitely the private hot tub outside, allowing me to relax while enjoying the breathtaking river view. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The attention to detail in the service was exceptional, from the warm welcome at check-in to the prompt assistance throughout my stay. The breakfast served was simply delicious, with a variety of dishes that showcased the local flavors of the region. Not to mention, all these amazing features were provided at a great value for money.
Everything was simply perfect at this hotel.

We had a great Easter stay! the included breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, and there were even complimentary drinks in our room. the location was convenient, with a big supermarket just a short walk away and the train station only a bit farther. Plus, we loved being able to soak in the hot springs and enjoy the beautiful mountain views.
The town itself was a bit lackluster, with many abandoned buildings and not much to do. there was no elevator in our hotel, which was a bit of a struggle with our bags.

Sitting in the hot tub, surrounded by snow, created a beautiful and serene scene that I will never forget. One of my favorite ryokans around Japan. The futon beds and rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The baths are fantastic, and the staff is attentive and discreet. The breakfast and dinner are excellent without being too extravagant. I highly recommend this ryokan for a cozy and authentic Japanese experience.
